- Every human cell carries zis DNA and zis DNA can be used in solving mysteries. Detectives need to know about zis, as DNA testing can help identify who vas at the scene of a crime. It is useful for spies to know zis too, as you never know ven it might come in handy. Eg. ven doing research or investigating a scene veer there has been enemy spies around. DNA is just like a code that is stored in the cells in your body. The cells can use this DNA to make humans. Zis DNA is really like a chemical library of coded instructions for making humans.
- No one in ze world has the same DNA as someone else. Except identical twins. Identical twins can have the same DNA.
- At ze scene of a crime, scientists can take DNA samples from objects. Zat just means zey can take some DNA off an object, usually done by using special chemicals.
- Scientists can match zee DNA samples against DNA records in zeer databases.
- So zee important thing is never to touch anything at a crime scene. Zee police vill come and look at it and zey vill veer gloves so zey don't get zeer DNA on the evidence.
